My mom was clasically trained on piano, has perfect pitch and used to teach a lyric writing class at IPFW. My dad was a fighter pilot and is a gifted song-writer. Music is in my blood.
My brother, Jay was like a father figure to me and when he picked up playing guitar at Bethel College, I was soon to follow. I quickly gravitated towards song-writing.
In college, I had the privilege of leading the Luke Sefton Band. Landon, Andy, Conner and Brennan were incredible musicians and those were some of the best musical experiences I've had in my lifetime.
Since then, I've written mostly on piano and although my latest recordings aren't produced professionally, I am happy to share my music with you. I love to write songs and lyrics.

God is faithful and he has a plan.
What will you do with talents God has given you?

My cousin Ben and I were born on June 2 and June 3 in 1984 - Parkview Randalia. I'm the chubby one to the right. Ben's parents sang and played on my parents EP in the 80's and Ben and I both pursued song-writing in our early 20s. Ben was a song-writer in Nashville and has been a helpful person to talk to about the challenges of not wanting to spend a lot of time or money on song-writing/recording and the struggle it is to be putting out songs that don't sound professional. Ben has reminded me over the last few years that perfectionism is the enemy of creativity. And he's right.

Psalm 33
1 Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. 2 Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. 3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.
4 For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.
